About American Servco Inc.

American Servco, Inc. is a certified 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Minority Business founded in 1995 by Young Song and headquartered in Duluth, Georgia. By committing to a higher standard of service, ASI has rapidly become an integral part of the facility management teams we work for. We provide a valuable service at a fair price, allowing facility managers to focus on other tasks. Since its inception, ASI has grown from cleaning a single building of less than a hundred thousand square feet to taking care of numerous private and public facilities totaling in the millions of square feet.

In 2007, we were certified as an 8(a) contractor and began to expand our business through opportunities afforded to minority small business companies in this government program. We are working on establishing partnerships with other small businesses in order to be more competitive in Federal Contracting.

In 2008, American Servco Inc. initiated a program to update and streamline our cleaning technique to become a more viable janitorial service. Unlike many of our competitors we are actually a Green Cleaning service not only in name, but in practice. We have updated our equipment to make extensive use of microfiber mops and energy efficient microfiltration vacuums. We use chemicals which bear the Green Seal label™ to maintain our standards of cleaning and also to care for the environment. We have implemented a training program to ensure that our employees are aware of their building’s needs and conscientious of conserving energy and resources. In order to learn more about proper Green Cleaning technique, we joined the U.S. Green Building Council™ to educate our staff and workers, and to ensure that our education is current with the Green Cleaning standard.

In our 17 years of providing custodial excellence, we have never lost a contract for performance reasons. The only contracts we have lost have been because of mandatory re-bidding and lower bids from competitors. We understand that cleaning is something that is mainly noticed when it is not performed properly. To this end, we insist on the highest standards of performance from our staff. Our goal is to keep our customers happy by allowing them to focus on their other responsibilities and not having to worry about the cleaning. We are always trying to improve on what we do and how we do it. Cleaning is always a work-in-progress, especially at facilities that are used by the public almost every day of the week. We are supremely committed to all of our clients—large and small—and we seek to provide them with unmatched commitment, quality, and service.
